Course Description

The module "Mobile and IoT Forensics for Law Enforcement" is aimed at studying specialized methods of forensic analysis of mobile devices and Internet of Things devices, including data extraction, artifact analysis and legal aspects of using obtained information in law enforcement activities.
The study of modern mobile forensics methods contributes to forming students' skills in working with digital evidence obtained from mobile devices and IoT systems. The module allows understanding the features of mobile operating system architecture, methods of data extraction and analysis, as well as legal limitations when working with mobile evidence.
The module "Mobile and IoT Forensics for Law Enforcement" covers theoretical and practical aspects of digital forensics as applied to mobile devices and IoT ecosystems, forming specialists' competencies for effective investigation of cybercrimes using mobile evidence.
Teaching is conducted in Uzbek, Russian and English languages.
