The Department of Cyber Law at Tashkent State University of Law is pleased to announce that four of our distinguished faculty members have been invited to deliver lectures at the University of Gdansk’s Faculty of Law and Administration. The lectures, organized by the School of International and Advanced Problems of Private Law, will showcase our department’s expertise in various aspects of cyber law and digital transformation.

Prof. Said Gulyamov, a respected voice in the field, will kick off the series with his lecture, “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Investigations.” Drawing on his extensive knowledge of the intersection between technology, law, and ethics, Prof. Gulyamov will explore the impact and utilization of AI technologies in investigative work.

Assoc. Prof. Eduard Egamberdiev, our department’s Deputy Head and a PhD in Law, will present his research on the protection of digital rights and digital property. His lecture, titled “Protection of Digital Rights and Digital Assets through Cyber Insurance,” will provide valuable insights into this critical area of cyber law.

Atty. Yekaterina Eduardovna Kan, MA, a lecturer known for her expertise in public activities related to the Korean diaspora, will deliver a comparative analysis of e-government development. Her lecture, “Pathways to Digital Transformation: Comparative Analysis of e-Government Development in the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Uzbekistan,” will highlight key lessons and achievements in this field.

Finally, Allah Rakha Naeem, MA, a professional lawyer and faculty member, will discuss the importance of incorporating ethical AI frameworks into legal systems. His lecture, “Ethical Frameworks for AI and Autonomous Systems in the Digital Economy,” will emphasize the need for a balanced approach to AI innovation and accountability.
